Dear Century investor and valued friend;
The year 2010 was an intense experience and a landmark in our country’s colourful history. The 2010 Fifa Soccer World Cup stands out as the highlight of the year and with loud vuvuzela’s and colourful makarapa’s we have disproved sceptics who questioned our infrastructure and criticised our crime. We showcased our rich tapestry of cultures and displayed our country’s natural splendour. And we did it with passion - well done Mzanzi!
As we approach the well-earned builder’s holidays over the festive season, we would like to take the time to thank everybody for all their loyal support during this year. Many property developers were forced to face economic hardship by shutting their doors. Not only did Century Property Developments survive these trying times, but rather flourished within it – emerging with a market share that is stronger than ever! Record sales were achieved in Waterfall and numerous other developments were launched.
Please feel free to take the time to read our year-end newsletter, knowing that we will be back next year with even bigger and more-ambitious projects. For those of you whom are planning to travel, please do so with care and enjoy a restful holiday season... For those who have decided to stay in town, our sales offices will operate as usual, with the exception of major public holidays.

Painting the Town Red (and Blue): Century Events and Sponsorships
With numerous launches under our belt, Century also focussed on sponsoring several sporting events such as the Spring Classic Mountain Bike Race at Helderfontein Estate, the Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge at Waterfall Country Estate, frequent golf day sponsorships and even a bowls tournament. Other events that Century sponsored were animal related, such as the Royal Canin Dog Day at Waterfall Country Estate, the Avis Derby and the South African Lipizzaners at Waterfall Equestrian Estate. The bridge that connects Maxwell Drive with Allandale was officially opened to the public and Waterfall Manor’s facilities were completed and open to residents. Century also pushed a charity drive where residents of all Century developments donated Christmas gifts for a Midrand orphanage, Jerusalem House.
